The exhibition hall was loud.
Too loud.
Hundreds of people.
Dozens of companies.
Everyone claiming they had “the future.”
But no one was really paying attention to him.
Just a young guy.
Standing behind a small table.
No banners.
No big screen.
Just… a laptop.
And it looked completely normal.
People walked past him.
Ignored him.
Until one man stopped.
Expensive suit.
Sharp eyes.
— “That’s it?” he asked, almost amused.
The guy smiled.
— “Watch this.”
He opened the laptop.
Nothing special.
— “So now we have a keyboard…”
The man smirked.
— “Congratulations. So does everyone else.”
The guy didn’t react.
Instead… he grabbed the keyboard.
And pulled.
It came off.
The man’s smile disappeared.
— “…which comes off.”
Underneath… the surface lit up.
A hidden touchscreen.
Alive.
Responsive.
— “…and this is now a touchscreen digital keyboard.”
The man leaned closer.
Now people started noticing.
The guy moved his fingers.
No clicks.
No sound.
Just pure motion.
— “…and if you want… you can swipe…”
He swiped.
The entire interface shifted instantly.
Fast. Smooth.
Like it was thinking ahead of him.
The man’s expression changed completely.
— “How… fast is that?”
The guy finally looked up.
Calm. Confident.
— “Fast enough to replace everything you know.”
Silence.
Heavy.
Then the man asked the question no one else dared:
— “Who built this?”
The guy paused.
Just for a second.
Then answered quietly:
— “Someone… they said didn’t belong here.”
The man stared at him.
Now really seeing him.
Not just the laptop.
— “And now?”

The guy closed the device slowly.
— “Now they’re all watching.”
Behind them…
a crowd had formed.
Phones out.
Eyes wide.
And for the first time that day…
No one was talking about the future.
They were looking at it.
