Before the wedding, my future husband’s grandmother handed me a vial with a green liquid and ordered me to drink it before the first wedding night, but after the wedding something strange happened to me

Before the wedding, my future husband’s grandmother handed me a small vial with green liquid and, with a strange expression on her face, said:

— Drink this before the first wedding night. If you don’t, you won’t have a single happy day in your life.

I was confused, not knowing whether she was joking or speaking seriously. My fiancé laughed, hugged his grandmother and said she shouldn’t scare the bride with her “old customs.”

But there was something in the old woman’s eyes that didn’t let me rest — like a warning.

The wedding went perfectly, I was happy and didn’t think about the vial until I was left alone in the bedroom. On the nightstand, next to the bouquet, stood that same bottle. The lid was slightly ajar, and inside, like something alive, shimmered a thick green liquid.

I became curious. I remembered the grandmother’s words and decided it was probably just a symbol — like champagne for luck.

I opened the vial and carefully drank a few drops. The liquid was cold, almost icy, with a hint of bitterness and metal.

After some time something strange began to happen to me 😳 And only then did I realize what exactly was in that vial, and I was horrified. Continuation in the first comment 👇👇

A minute later, my body seemed to turn to stone. I felt everything — the bedsheets on my skin, the cold air, even my heartbeat — but I couldn’t move. I became frightened, wanted to call my husband, but couldn’t — my tongue felt numb.

I tried to scream, but my voice disappeared, as if invisible fingers were squeezing my throat. Flashes flickered before my eyes, and then everything plunged into darkness.

I don’t remember how the night passed. I don’t remember when my eyes closed. Only in the morning, when sunlight broke into the room, did I manage to move my fingers and struggle to get out of bed.

I went to the grandmother and asked why she gave me this potion. She answered calmly, as if speaking about something completely ordinary:

— It’s a family tradition. So that the first wedding night goes smoothly, the bride must drink this herbal elixir. It temporarily shuts down the body, so she doesn’t feel anything. It’s important.

Her words struck me like an icy blow. I didn’t know what to say. I became truly frightened, because now I understood that this family lived by some strange, ancient, and possibly dangerous customs.

And I… was supposed to become part of them.
